I apologize, I worked a 12 hour day and immediately came home and had a few stiff drinks and this was probably not a good idea to post what I did. I deleted and am stupidly embarrassed.

Will the 3D grass grow on its own and then course designers will have to buy a grounds crew asset to have it cut?

Thanks for the chuckle Rob but you know what, all joking aside, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that in the future golf games could have grass growth through the day and for tournaments etc, I mean PP has already pushed the boundary on many things with JNPG, they've raised the bar again and again with physics and feel so who knows what we may get down the line ... it's certainly exciting times for us cyber-golfers

Joe,
Yes it was. You have a passion for video Golf games the likes of which is rare. Don't lose the passion my friend. Ultimately it defines who you are and what you stand for. We all have posts we would like to have back. I could fill up the War and Peace manuscript on that alone.....

I will try and post more pics this week of the 3d grass and maybe some videos too.
Looking superb Mike. What course was used for the screenshots? More 3D grass screenshots and videos would be much appreciated.

No course, it's just a rough test hole with one type of tree simply to test the grasses as we continue to develop them.

Hmmm what am I going to play this on? I'm go i g to have to have it. Right now I have a mid range gaming laptop with base amd. R7. , And a r9 hi res card built in. Will it work? Will this be on console? Or are we talking gaming pc?
Before you get down, check the whole thread.
Mike has indicated that he was seeing only about a 2-ish FPS drop for the grass.

I'm not sure how much I'd get my hopes up for the PS side in the near term (2017) personally.
I'm a PS guy all the way, but am prepared to grab an XB1S for my relative that I play with if the performance is good.
