After a long break and overcoming many issues with projects crashing and losing the terrain, here are some images of my next links style course. I have 18 holes laid out and 17 playable. much more to do yet, plantings, seam blending, and some work to green complexes and further terrain sculpting that will take me quite a while to finish.

Images taken with dynamic skies enabled, at 7-8am or 5-7pm. I also have dropped the brightness in game as well. I prefer it without dynamic skies, unless its overcast and chance of rain...love that look. Fraps FPS counter is visible in some images, all taken in game.

7,148 yds. from the tips. 5 sets of tee's.

3 par 5's; 3 par 3's. 35 out, 37 in. 

Longest par 4 - 477 yds.

Longest par 5 - 601 yds.

Now the tedious part begins...thinning out the locations with high FPS hits, continually working the grasses and shrubs to get the look right.

Adding some custom tee markers, and accessories on the tee's etc. Then onto the greens.

"Seam Blending". Does course forge not do this automatically?

I say this because I do find that sometimes when laying deep rough onto the terrain I get a line appear.

Is there a way to stop this happening?

Yes, CF does this auto.

If you're speaking of in game, this happens with dynamic skies ON.
