Small gift here. Still grinding through Kiawah and the new version of the House Builder. You import this as a custom package in Unity.

Simple Bulkhead - https://www.dropbox....itypackage?dl=0

I was assisting a fellow member on his course build and he wisely suggested that I might share my creation to the community. I know Axe was in search of a wall and steps for his Amana and I had been dragging my feet. I am hoping this will do the trick for most simple bulkhead needs.

Concept is simple. 2 main blocks and capstones that can be removed if needed. Materials/Texturing can be however you desire. You can use materials from the House Builder packages as well or download for your needs off of the internet.

NJ4NPwD.jpg

Video showing basics of adjusting materials and simple placement ideas. I did not apply Physics to the Collider. I did not want the PP physics to import with my package and cause issue. So you have to do that manually. If you click on the dropdown arrow next to each Prefab, you will see the Mesh Collider within each piece and change the Material to "concrete" or whatever you wish. You will have to do this for the capstones and wall_base.

Enjoy!

Cool. Someone will need to tell me if they cause Dynamic Sky flashing bs. I may need to remove the underside of the capstone if that's the case. I've never been able to fully replicate the magic of that damn Spline Bridge.

Guy's

I was the one that Matt helped and I was very appreciative to him. If you noticed the wall with steps. I was able to make that by sinking or moving the walls objects. My current course required two large retaining walls to be built and also has two man made ponds that has retaining walls. A few tee boxes are tiered with the use of rocks and I made the decision to swap out the rocks with retaining walls. With his house builder program he has become a great asset to all of us and I would encourage all of us to share objects and the knowledge we've learned and from the posts I've seen here most everybody does. If you want to see the walls on my course just click on the link to download the course. I have still a lot of work to do with building and other things, but you have all 18 holes playable.

You can copy and past the link into a browser. Or just click on the link to download.

Thanks DPR. Just in time for my next course. Since you're in the Cincinnati area, I'm sure you have heard of Hyde Park G&CC. There is a simple retaining wall on the 6th hole and this will be perfect.

Good to hear Hyde Park is in the works. I've played there several times.

Really bummed on the flashing. If Mike could put me in touch with the guy who made the Spline Bridge, maybe I can figure out the issue. I can make objects for myself that don't have it. Stacking the objects in Unity seems to create issues but I don't see it when I stack the Spline Bridge.

For now, I can hold off on any sharing until I have any bright ideas to fix it. Hate to have people use my stuff only to find it creates problems.

Well I'm moving along quite nicely, even though I may have to replace all this, I will have the elevations all ready to go.

I will of course be looking to stucco over this, add a railing and stairs but I like it! :D

A little tightening up to go but you get the idea.

Larry, looking good. I finished your maintenance building this morning. I'm working on the clubhouse update as well.

After your wall is done, I would like you to export it to me. I will try and combine it in Blender and remove excess planes and see if we can eliminate the flashing.

Hi. This wall is perfect for the course I’m building however the wall is about 1 mile long. I’m a novice so this might be a stupid question but can you multiply these ie place one, copy it, then copy the two, then copy the four etc so it doesn’t take as long.
