Hello All - I know I'm a little late in the game here, but since PG still has more than a handful of golfers still playing the game, I figured I would "contribute" to the PG community by offering a different Game Type.
I made these methods of play when the Social Site was up and still use them today.. its a nice variation from the stock game types and can be very challenging to the point where the single point events could be the deciding factor for your final score and winning the match! Playing in difficult weather conditions makes it even more challenging. Try it, don't try it.. up to you. Ha.
Game Type: Points Challenging (Singles and Team play).
Normal scoring events:
Hole in One = 10pts
Double Eagle = 8pts
Eagle = 6pts
Birdie = 4pts
Par = 2pts
Bogie = -1pts
Double Bogie = -2pts
Worse than Dbl Bogie = -3pts
Bonus Scoring Events:
Tee shot hit the fairway = 1pt
Hit a green in regulation = 1pt
Tee Shot is within 10ft on Par 3 = 1pt
Make a putt over 25ft = 1pt
Pitch/Chip/Splash In = 1pt
Drop the .bop files in your Config folder within the PG directory. Typically, the directory should look like this:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Perfect Golf\Config
You'll find the Points Challenging games in the Game Set Up menu under Game Type.

Thanks clint.. yeah, I play mostly with my brother and the AI, where I believe I have their skill set close if not better than my own. so, its challenging for me... those single point events can drive me crazy when missed, especially when you are playing in tough conditions!
Glad you like it!
