Dynamic Skies Issues

I’ve been updating a few courses with 3d grass recently and out of curiosity I played them with DS on… they looked horrible! 😮
More than usual! 😆
The dynamic skies totally ruined the 3d grass…oof
I couldn’t believe how bad it looked.
Do most people have Dynamic Skies On while playing?

Dynamic skies = "off" for me
Was a feature that would/could have been so cool in a different reality of how the game turned out.
Bummer to hear it is so bad with 3DG. That would be another reason to nix it for me.

On I like to pick the time of day that I play, makes the course feel different, 7 am vs 6pm.

I never play dynamic skies, as I would like to see the course how the designers intend it to look like. Not sure how the PGLS tour organizers set up tho, could be an issue sometimes. Maybe write on the loading screen that it should be played with Dynamic set to OFF?

Any course designers that suggest Dynamic Sky should be set to OFF will see notes added to that course at PGLS for when the said course is used in a PGLS tourney.
If we don't see any notes to that affect then by default Dynamic Sky is set to ON.

I tried Keel beta2 as well as the new Ridgewood, and the grass looks the same (very good) for me with dynamic skies ON and OFF on both courses.

To be honest, I like both. But, if the course has a nice skydome, I'll play that way because the game usually gives me a little better on the frame rates.
