I wanted to share some screenshots of a course recreation I have been working on. It is The Links at Bodega Harbour, which is a public course located along the coast of northern California that was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. While I wouldn’t call it the peak of golf course architecture, it is a fun layout on a very unique piece of land.

The course is ready for beta testing and I’ll start a new thread in that section for those interested in trying it out.

A friend and I played the course and both of us were impressed.... definitely a keeper. Our only slightly negative comment was that the frame rates seemed low on a few holes. Forgot to note the specific holes.  Was wondering if the number of houses on most holes impacted the frame rates???

The attention to detail is obvious....thank you for all your fine work.

Thanks Brian, lovely course. Had a couple of online rounds and we did not notice any fps loss. Good to see JN GBC designers keeping the 99 objects slots filled lol

Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you enjoy the course. Yes, the framerate definitely dips on some holes. That usually happens in spots where the view overlooks the entire course landplot, such as the 5th hole tee. A large number of SpeedTree objects on holes such as the 6th, 16th and 17th also affect the frame rate quite a bit. If I can, I'll try to optimize those holes further.

Had just enough time to play the front nine yesterday. Fantastic recreation! The level of detail surrounding the course is impressive. Thank you for your hard work.
