I’d buy if they made a vr version. Now.. who wins out the ensuing battle? EA or 2K?

I suspect I’ll be buying either way.

I’m really excited about the thought of next gen frostbite graphics.

I haven't followed the TW Platform since 2k10. My question to all of you in the know is did EA ever reintroduce a CA to the public. The last one that I am aware of existed in TW06. As far as I am concerned, "EA  Can Kiss My A".

No PC version? That's unfortunate, perhaps a Microsoft Links 2021 revival is worth hoping for. (Well, we can dream, right?)

Already confirmed? I'm nearly out then. It would have to be a real bomb to make me buy a box for the first time and just for a golf game. I'm ready to change my mind but the expectations are high then... Anyway, can't be wrong EA are back in town. Maybe Microsoft also wants a peace of the cake then again if it has enough cream. 🍦

I found this. They mention consoles in the first paragraph.

they also said this down a little further

"The publisher did not specify platforms in the news release, but described the product as a “next-gen golf video game.”"

Hell, if they released a PC version of Madden I'd be surprised if they didn't do a PC golf game. They just can resist failing again.

There’s a possibility that it comes to pc with EA now selling their games on Steam. It would make sense as 2K sells pc as well. But it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s console only.

Considering this game will be developed by Tiburon studio, which also made Rory McIlroy PGA Tour, it will be for Xbox and PS5.   I would be very surprised if they made a PC version.   And if they did make a PC version, even MORE surprised if it had 3 click.

To me, this is just going to be a revamped and updated Rory game... which I did enjoy for a short period of time.

I like the fact that we now get competition and two games that have the backing of the PGA Tour is the good.  The bad is that EA sports has been horrible at sports games the last few years and the latest version of Madden is a mess.  My take is they will do a revamp of Rory and shove it out the door and sell tons of copies and tons of people will be pissed.  Sorry but I don't trust them anymore.

I always meant to ask you, how was the CA in EA's McIlroy version #17 if I'm not mistaken? Just curious how the custom designs looked in that version because you really seem to like it.

I am not clear on what you're asking - Can you please restate the question?

Did EA furnish a Course Architect for custom course designs in the McIlroy version PGA Golf 2017? Or are you relegated to only play their crap stock courses?
