Maybe some smoothing around the water hazard on 13? Apart from that you deserve congrats, you really went for the small touches that I didn't expect for a first effort.

Brilliant job Jugador, my brother and I played around it last night and both of us thought it was one of the most complete courses we've played. Thanks for taking the time to put it out there. The only thing I had a problem with was overshooting the 17th into the water just beyond the green and it treated it like a bunker.

Okay, I'll be home in a couple of days and I'll double check the water properties. I thought I had all the water set to water.
Thanks for the compliment, glad you liked it.

Thank you, Sir...appreciate the compliment. I think I know what may have happened. I used the pot bunker technique to make the bulkhead, and I probably need to better align the OB behind the green.

Congratulation! Fabulous recreation of a real course especially considering that it's your first course. The power poles remind of some german courses from the Links series. Very nice trees, excellent flybys and clubhouse. The greens seem to be pretty flat is this equal to the real course? Only the moon doesn't look as nice. But all in all a very good looking design.
Thank You! I'm curious what comes next because there seems not much designing going on actually.

Thank you, Sir...appreciate the comments. Kinda cool to know someone way over in Germany is playing my course!
I'm a bit of a couch philosopher and Immanuel Kant and Arthur Schopenhauer are my two favorites. (especially Schopenhauer). I'm a big fan of Goethe, also.
I didn't do much sculpting, because the Lidar was so good. I'm guessing the greens are pretty close to real. When I get home tomorrow, I'll see what I can do with the "daytime moon".
I'm thinking about doing Dutch and Bobby's, I have some really nice Lidar for both. https://www.craguns....wE&gclsrc=aw.ds
Their both pretty cool Robert Trent Jones, Jr designs.

Okay, just uploaded the "should be" final version to PGLS. Here's a temporary download link for the course and a link for my recorded round.
1. Smoothed out some edges
2. Improved water tower textures
3. Added a couple of houses and some rabbits
4. Made sure all the OB's played correctly
5. Lightened the moon (Now, instead of an ugly "grey" disk in the sky, there's an ugly "white" one! lol)
6. Increased from 3 pins to 6 pins per green

Have Fun!

Very professional-looking layout, sorta reminiscent of a course in Oregon I lived near.
I played the earlier version and didn't happen to see any of the problems that were reported, and certainly don't see any now.
Looks great and PLAYS great.

Went to Digital Storm and ordered me up a nice gaming machine
Intel i3 chip at 3.9G
16 gig DDR4 RAM
GeForce 970 GTX 4gig vid card
240G SSD
1TB HD
Windows 10
It's HERE!! JNPG runs great with all the bells and whistles at max or close to it... I still turn 3D render off for the swing, tho.

I'll see what I can do. Right now we're having a bad winter storm here in Texas, and I'm getting sporadic power outages. They only last a few seconds, but they're frequent.

Okay Mis Amigos, I think this fixed the main issues. Here's a temporary link: https://mega.nz/file...27gXv9mT7PfPIpc
1. Fixed issue with freezing at 50% sometimes...
2. Fixed issue with the ball rolling off the edge of the 17th green and getting a sand shot...
3. Replanted all pins...2 easy, 2 medium and 2 difficult. (I put a little more thought into the placement)
4. Replaced the default skybox with something a little wispier...
5. Added a few random dead trees...
6. Flattened out the green around the 17 bulkhead...(ball shouldn't roll off so easy)
A little "wispier" sky...
A little flatter around the edges (more like in real life)
