This is a reminder to everyone who has a Sim Pass Subscription to make sure that they have cancelled their subscription so Steam does not auto renew it. Sim passes will remain active through at least August 2020 even if it expires on steam.

Hi Andrew. I knew nothing about Trackman buying the rights to JNPG, I have had no in game messages or emails to this effect, and that they are locking out other sim users. As such my auto renewal kicked in and I've been charged for a years use. As it's a subscription it is an agreement between myself and the game owner/developer (now Trackman I presume?) and not with Steam and as I understand it Trackman have stated they will not be honouring that agreement. That puts whoever I've paid in breach of contract so obviously they must pay me the money back. Who do I pursue for this? Is it Trackman directly? Thanks.

I think it was you who send TM a support request. which triggered me to remind everyone. We will take care of your refund for sure. What is your Steam ID and do you have the Transaction ID and or Steam Receipt Thanks

Surely anyone who has a subscription, which is a legal agreement with them, has recourse to have their money refunded?

This is my Steam profile, does that help?

Steam Invoice number for my subscription was: 2936835703932278949
Bill was for £197.86 which was $250 at the time it renewed.

Andrew, just to confirm, this does not apply to SkyTrak users, correct? I double checked my Steam account, but could not find anything regarding a subscription. I'm pretty sure I get billed through SkyGolf. Just want to make sure I'm not overlooking anything.
Thanks, and sure wish PP and TM would reconsider this unfortunate move to pull the plug on the simulator community.

Correct. Your skytrak should continue to connect at least through August 2020.

Was just sitting down to say thank you having just got an email about it. They've put the funds on my Steam Wallet rather than back on my card. Ideally I'd have preferred the money back but I'm being picky and back in my Steam account is better than not at all. Thanks very much for your prompt help, Andrew. It's very much appreciated.
