Yeah, right!
You wish!
My undying hatred for everything Speedtree is well documented and I stand by it more than ever. Also, the general dearth of suitable Speedtree models is probably the singlemost off-putting thing about the joys of course designing. Newbie designers are completely stumped (yeah, pun: I just went there!) about Speedtrees. Good trees cost money, which is not good. The Unity Tree Modeller costs 19 quid a month and is an absolute horror no human being deserves to be exposed to. And worst of all, there is absolutely nothing anybody can do about it.
Except sharing. See the link below?

Click on it to download the ZIP-file "K11 Trees". In there you will find my measly collection of trees, such as all the palm trees from Ahora (also available in the Tropicana package), the pine trees from Five Sisters (Unity Trees mostly), the Heather and Gorse from Karen and the latest tree collection from the Rattlesnake, 5 from the Crummy and 3 from the Pesky family of questionable plants.
None of these trees are commercial products, they have all been created by me. Poorly - they are not great or super trees, far from it. At least they are for free and they look different.
These trees are delivered to you "as is" - there will be no support from me at all for importing and using them, and any problems you might have will be your problems and not my problems.
And please, you OTHER DESIGNERS, ALL OF YOU... Share your trees, if you legally can. As a community let's all share our way out of the Speedtree monopoly on mediocre Arboriculture. There must be hundreds of trees out there... It is utterly lamentable that a golf course design ecosystem such as CF/Unity should be so ludicrously short on trees - that's like KFC without chickens. The only viable option is more grass-root activism.
Admin, pin this thread or not and kindly block it from more comments - this isn't a discussion thread, it's meant to broadcast the download link and add some context to it, nothing more.
