I'm due to give an update to the Recorded Rounds Database this weekend.
Is anyone still interested (should I bother)?

Ted,
Either your message folder is full, or you've been banned from recieving messages. Here is what I tried to send you:
"I don't thimk we need the folder "Recorded Rounds Archive" any more. It's a leftover from FRET I & II. It was saved to the backup MEGA in June. I want to delete it before I make the July back-up. Y/N?"
Let me know.

I use the recorded rounds more often than playing solo or live now, playing pro myself against your tour pro are always even rounds.

Goran,
I'm glad you're enjoying the Recorded Rounds. Upload some of your recorded rounds so we can "grow" the database.

The problem is I try to record my rounds against yours, but they are not saved. I have uploaded some playing solo though. Tonight I played two rounds against Dazmaniac on Liberty National, and he broke them up in front and back and that was great and very exciting to the last hole. I sometimes decide to play only the front nine on full recorded rounds due to time issues.
It was also fun to play Doggs and others rounds, wish more forum users would do this. There is admittedly more suspension playing live, but sometimes I need a break for family stuff.

Goran - yes when recording yourself against someone else's recorded round, it's a 50-50 chance the recording is saved (or not). I've stopped using this feature, myself because its too frustrating to play a competitive round and then not find a recording. Keep uploading when you can,

JoeMens - just played your recorded round at the new (PP) Birkdale. Outstanding competition!
We were both up 1 at various points in the round, but you managed to get 2 clear going into the par 5 17th. I hit a near perfect 3W from 264yds to within 3 inches (near albatross, shot uploaded) for eagle to temporarily tie. You birdied to go to 18 up 1. At 18 you missed a medium range putt for the win, and I managed a par for the tie. Luckily, my round recorded ( so I uploaded to MEGA).

Nice to hear I can compete, this was only my second TourPro round. Not sure if I will change from Pro, I got quite exhausted by trying to maintain concentration for all long shots.
I have had many similar games against uours and Daves recorded rounds but playing pro. Will download your round and play it later when I have forgot our score

I had a short practice session against GJM playing 3 Click TourPro. It has opened up all the recorded rounds competitively using 3C where I was struggling with RTS-M (even at Pro (lack of practice)).
I've just got to re-learn the short game distances and I'll get cracking on adding recordings.
Yep. 3C !

loaded 8 rounds in my recorded rounds folder and it got slow logging on
i was also getting some meter lag even using the renderer and my round did not record
don't think loading a bunch in the folder is good

Terry9,
Welcome! Glad you're enjoying the recorded rounds (and uploading). I've started playing (and recording) rounds while playing in some of the Official Tournaments, at both Tour Pro and Pro level. Crow357 moderates. Any questions, just give me a shout.
