Played there last year, actually shot a 76 although the less said about the other course the better...

I spent quite  long time with the General Manager trying to get a release but it seems that the Trump courses either go all in (ie all courses do it) or they dont do it at all.  Apparently Trump is a fan of drones rather than virtual graphics

Nice playing!! A 76 is nothing to scoff about on those greens. My guess is you didn't play from the championship tees that stretch the course to 7800-8000 yards.

 

What did you dislike about the "River" course  (that has no hole along the river)? Some of the more interesting holes were moved from the "Championship" course to the "River" course during the redesign in 2012-2013. I thought the NBC coverage of the Senior PGA was terrible. There was not one fly-over during the entire telecast. The fly-overs on their website are computer generated.

I shot a horrible score.....on the River Course.  I think it was like 43 for 9 holes  Seemed to me that I was always putting it in the wrong place.   I guess you really need to know that course whereas the championship course was kind of out there in front of you.

No we did not play from the Championship tees   It was a tournament between Trump and Bethesda CC...  so it was a tournament round.

thank you dave,glad you like them.and thanks to all the testers.what a tremendous help you guys are.now im going full on, trump bedminster, the old course and the new course.no time frame right now.theres so many good courses out  right now,im gona lay off designing  a few weeks and play them.cheers!

ooh ,and dave your right nicklaus is as good  a course designer as he was a player,one of the best ever.imo.
