There is a wonderful version of Pine Valley done for Links by Robert Miller, and a decent one of Royal Melbourne. Somebody was working on a new Royal Melbourne that was quite possibly the most real looking Links course I've ever seen to date, but it was a pretty taxing project on the poor guy working on it... I think he said his APCD validation save times were over 30 minutes.

As a proud South African I would really like to see one or two of our courses on there, but I guess it's wishful thinking, unless I build them myself. For those of you who've been down here, you would know that we have some spectacular golf courses here.
Fancourt Links (Presidents Cup 2003), Leopard Creek ( Alfred Dunhill European tour event) Arabella....just to name a few.

Really liked what I saw of Fancourt on TV a few years back. Well, not really a few anymore. Going on 12..wow. Regardless, great looking layout.

Red Tail Golf Course, St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada.
A private course that is played by invitation only. Nick Price stayed there while writing his memoir and stated that if he could choose any course in the world to prepare for the Masters it would be Red Tail. Unfortunately, at that time of year, the course would likely still have snow on it.

I would like to play TPC @ TwinCities since it is 10 minutes away. I already have my geo referenced lidar data for this course, Interlachen and Hazeltine into Unity3D. Course Forge can't be that tough if it is based on Unity3D, unfortunately it will be quite a long time before we can build our own courses with Course Forge.....
In the mean time here is a couple screens from inside the executable I made with it. I put a bird loop in it and walking the course is pretty great. I've been there many times watching the senior tour so It looks spot on. I've been to Hazeltine and Interlachen many times as well and I actually designed Hazeltine for 2 other games but this time I actually have Lidar to use. I might have not imported it perfectly though because there are still slight bumps on the surface which would require smoothing. Maybe importing lidar is not perfect though with Unity3d so I have no clue if I did anything wrong since the lidar is perfect and it doesn't import like this in the other game I play that you can design for.
