Getting closer peeps

It looks gloomy for a reason, thanks to the real time weather.

:D

You're killing me Daz! In a good way.  :)  Real time weather is a superb idea to go along with a long list of other features PG has in store.

It's a bit of a jump back right now but since you guys were on system specs, I'm wondering how you think my laptop would cope with PG. It runs TGC reasonably smoothly on Low...

i7 4800MQ (2.7ghz)

16GB RAM

Amd Firepro M5100 w/ 2GB RAM (similar to Radeon 8870M)

I would think it's reasonably powerful but TGC only works well with GTX780s and 8 core processor desktops....

I have a i5, GT640 and can play very smooth on low settings. I could play on high, but on some holes my FPS drops under 25 so the meter lags. I'm pretty sure you can play on high at least, just start with medium and look what happens when you go up the line :)

Who cares...

Awesome. So long story short this game doesn't eat computer components alive like TGC does...?

That should be faster than my gt750m gaming laptop and I can run PG at ultra high with no problems at 40 fps + 1600x900

Never used Steam.  I hope there are going to be an army of players wanting to try this game out tomorrow.  Can Steam get overloaded and reduce how many players can play one certain game at a time?

Don't think so. I've seen Steam handling 6 million + users at any one time. I think tomorrow's launch should cater for all the players that want to get their hands on the game.

;)

Its the 22nd here in Perth Western Australia, were is my PG Lmao

Because this game is so imaginably cheap, considering how much time and effort was put into it, can I presume that it will basically be like a in app purchase type of game. ?

If not why not, unless the developers are hoping for say 12 million purchases

GG,

Game goes live at 3pm GMT (UK) and I think EST is 5 hours behind us, so I think you will see it from 10am EST tomorrow.

I don't mean to be a buz kill but I hope at some point we can turn down and off the background jungle sounds .. without having to loose sound to our ball hitting or when I miss and hit myself in the face with the club ..

Bruce,

The price is what it is as PP feel that is the right price for Early Access and to encourage players to take advantage of the discounted price and repay that with plenty of feedback about the game to help in its development.

Once Early Access is over and the full release goes live, anyone who has not already purchased the game will then pay the full retail release price, aimed at around $30-$35. Folks who already paid $19.99 don't pay anymore.

There may be future DLC that is offered either free or with set pricing, but nothing has been confirmed as far as DLC is concerned just yet.

;)
