Hm... this one will be different. A bit more immature, less intellectual, more unleashed inner child. I'm just finishing the back nine and there are some rather silly downhillers in there (putt-putt accusations unavoidable...). Imagine me sitting here, chuckling and cackling at my own childishness. Not the merry, loving guffaws of a responsible old man, no, more like the gleefully twisted grins of a naughty little boy.
This one will be a bit of a romp.
For instance, this is what the 18th green will look like:
Tee shots will be coming in from 90 degrees to the left. Your ball will
- be okay
- hit the wall protecting the alpine cabine brutalist clubhouse and then who knows?
- land on the other side of that wall and end up out of bounce
- hit the retaining wall and bounce.... somewhere
- or quite possibly get wet.
This is one of the very few mean parts, actually, most other follies are erring on the side of scoring low.
