But back to Five Sisters, my latest project, and I have decided to let all of you watch the birth of this baby as if you were the midwife.
Trouble fell like a dark cloud over the valley of the five sisters today, when THIS caught my attention:
THIS being the particle effect of the waterfall becoming visible at billboard distance. Solid trees cover the waterfall, billboards, well, dont. That's just one of so many little Unity surprises that sneak up on you from behind, kick you in the nuts, rip off your head and piss down your neck. Bitter much? It will get sorted, all of this stuff does one way or another, and if somebody here has an useful idea, write to Blammocorp! Ltd, Kablammia Republic, c/o Mrs Eileen Dover, who will gladly answer your phone call 24/7 while I'm out on the course.
There's also some good news. Holes 2, 3 and 4 have appeared.
2 is a 660 yd uphill par 5 from the challenge tees. Member and Ladies tees are usually considerably shorter, btw. Even at high altitude, this is a 3-shot hole. (Wait for 7...)
Hole 3 is a downhill par 4 with two different greens, no big deal, placement should superseed brawn here.
And 4 is the first of the par 3's with a peninsula green in one of the curves of the sister river. It's 220 yds in length, which seems much, but it's also 20 yd downhill and at this high, alpine altitude, a 6 iron will easily cover the distance.
And how was your day?
