Practicing planting. I hope to reduce the clones when more trees become available. Finally got the water to work with the PP water prefab. Thanks for making this available to help us keep designing.

Looks great, Tim.
Meanwhile, back at the homestead: The upgrade of Willow Heath has reached the stage of re-texturing.
Here's the old ones as they look today:
And here's the new look with 364.82 % more 2D grass blades:
The slightly changed par 3 2nd: Framed by trees, bumpier green environment.

Great stuff guys!
Just a comment I need to say here considering some of the lovely things you are doing. You know being in the alpha/beta test of CourseForge has not been an easy ride, why? Because I have mostly left you to sink or swim and the software is constantly changing - let's call it the acid test!
The documentation is outdated and there have been few helping hands to get you off to an easy start and yet here you are you are, coming up with some really good things, I am impressed! Suffice to say that CF will get easier as we start to add a few more user friendly starter packs along with some decent tutorials.
Anyone else want to have a go? PM me and I'll see what I can do to get you onboard. There is only one requirement - that you have the time to give it a good go and are not just wanting to look at it for curiosities sake. If this sounds up your alley, lets go!

Wow! That is a really nice offer Mike! Really wish I had the time to learn CF....

Mike,
I am extremely interested in putting in the time to give you feedback on Course Forge. I am positive i can put in the time to learn Course Forge quickly and Start producing good golf. I have been using Unity for about a year now and i am 100 percent comfortable with it. I already have a few original designs ready to be made if i am selected for the next round of Beta Testers. Thanks for your time and i look forward to working with the Perfect Parallel Team.

I don't know if it's the update to U5 or what, but the bar on textures is improving every time I look in this thread.

Thank god. I thought maybe I would have to drive by this course and move on down the road. Really great news.
BTW, Please be sure that Mr. White's table is always available for his foursome.

Will do.
Mr. White thanks you and will be honored to 'grace' your course at the appropriate time. He requests that you dispense with the run of the mill 'beer cart' and instead provide a 'beverage cart' consisting of Fine Wines and, of course, plenty of Johnnie Red. He also asked me to offer his services for the ribbon cutting ceremony and 'guest of honor.

While I am an avid vinophile most of the patrons
of this Southern ground do not partake in libations of
the vineyard variety. We do offer a few cheap Reds
and Whites for our few female members. While drinking
is allowed and encouraged on the property, the Clubhouse
upperdeck bar is the sole distributor at this time.
If you ask our groundskeeper McTavish nicely, and
slip him a fin, he'll direct you to a moonshine still
that is located deep in the Brushy Creek woods and
is run by his rebel friend Cooter.

Oh well, I guess that will do until Mr. White becomes President of the Board. Then we can upgrade the membership quality to invitees only and spruce up the dining and wining. Geez Louise, did I actually see 'raccoon' on the menu as the 'chef' special and 'Thunderbird red, rose and white? At least that 15th club in everyone's bag is really a 'shotgun'.

Just meshing around with my Pitch and Putt layout
Still in early stages. Longest hole so far around 75 yds, shortest less than 25. Greens being long and segmented, that ought to make for a lot of shotmaking decisions on the tee.
Some Pins will be so tight on awkward spots that players might have to settle for the best possible "leave". A safe 3 should be eminently doable, but I will make it as hard as possible for you to get a 2.
And some crazy elements are okay, I guess, as on this green that slopes viciously down from the tees. I would even put in a windmill as a club house. But I won't, because members would start whining that its sails are not in sync with the wind.
Note on this last image the 3 tees in the background, the easiest above the tee on the far right, the hardest below it to the left. And hard means hard!

Hopefully by the time your creation is finished
we will be able to practice POT BUNKERS!!.
In the old Microsoft Links 2000 the Mesa Rosa course
had an Easter Egg where you could hit your ball
into a certain place in the cliffs, disappear , and
come out onto the green.
