I'm just happy that his course building skills are as good as his writing skills.  And his comedic skills.  That last sentence proves unequivocally that comedy is all in the timing.

Thanks to you all. My skill set is indeed perfectly streamlined to not earn me a living... If you do get involved in the fine art of terminal feline asphyxiation, do wear ear protection. The noise is quite horrible.

Of course, the place still need pot bunkers.

Oh, and something big and wet that looks like a wind-swept briny.

Ah, and of course an ambient sound loop with thundering breakers in the distance, howling wind and a few seagulls.

Ah, I see, the "I am the Walrus"-association... But nay, ought to be odder ones. how about...

  • The Cast of "Last of the Summer Vine" playing veeery slowly in the group ahead of you, none of them hitting their balls further than 35 yards at a time.
  • Julie Andrews singing "The hills are alive, with the sound of muuuuusic", but falling off a cliff in mid-song.
  • Or Dr. Janina Ramirez commenting on your golf game while providing background narration about the archaeological evidence and the celtic-gaelic history of the place from the stone ages until 1850.
  • Or Doc Martin having a 1'000th row with his "Louiserrr" about his total lack of sensitivity and emotional unresponsiveness, but correctly insisting that this wasn't Cornwall.

Just off the top of my head...

Need the spoof version with the Germans coming over the hill and the sound of gunfire

With many thanks and great appreciation to TheBigYin519 for producing a test build, you all are hereby cordially invited to witness a large part of my Maiden Round on the Black Swan:

I shall play a dozen more rounds from all the tees and towards all the pins to check it out thoroughly, then return to Unity to perform the necessary adjustments.

Wow, looking good K11. Thanks for taking the time to do the video. All your hard work in unity and then course forge creating your course begins to pay off when you actually start to play test it. It must have been a great feeling for you. It's something I and many others hope to experience in the not too distant future. I know it's not the finished article but the Black Swan already looks fantastic. Can't wait to play it someday. Any idea when that could be? Have PP any plans to introduce the course by way of an update when it's finished?

No idea. I could finish the job in one week, I'd say, and without hurrying. But there are a few technical issues, as you've seen. Also, the newest version of CF, which I do not have, comes with automatic hazard stakes planting, which is quite essential for the Black Swan. And then don't get me started on the fatal absence of pot bunkers...

And then there's always the unknown factor of me doing something innocent and this somehow making CF explode into error codes without me knowing why. Things being what they are, MJ had to clock up some serious overtime on Willow Heath to make the course playable - bless him for that. Adding all that together, I reckon it'll be a while. But the course will profit if I can play-test it now and invest a bit more time in careful, localized improvements and readjustments. So it's as well. For me, at least.

Very nice indeed. This makes a perfect case for having the WASDVF camera key's so you can move about the course freely to inspect it, whilst in the game... I sure am not going to golf around a design just to inspect my work in the game... I have to say though, your voice is rather hypnotising, I was quite pleasantly surprised and your written wit is a little more understandable when  you put it together with your voice and way of speaking..

For some reason, the show Gold Rush and a certain character were in my thoughts, while listening to you....lol

I've managed to get started - finally! - after much gnashing and grinding of teeth. I've been fooling around with this little three hole practice loop just today and tonight.

Time to have a look at the underbelly. Behold the Black Swan seen from 30 m below ground...

All my rock objects reach at least as far underground as they are visible from above.

Hmmm, Always wondered what the guts of a

Black Swan looked like. Is that the gizzard

there in the middle? I know you wish there

were pot bunkers in that mix, and I hope you

get'em K.
