Right on, do poke fun at the one guy who tries to be more than a one-trick horse and suffers from a compulsive urge not to dish out generic and samey fare.
Have another look at that clubhouse. A very traditional manor house, it turns out, a worthy dwelling for the landed gentry of Pyongnang.
And with that let's resume normal services in Show & Tell, the only place in the entire PP universe where schedules are met and updates are frequent. Never heard a "thank you" for that, come to think of it:
Today is happy texture day - and you guys know what that means.
Actually, no, you don't. Let me explain: It's when I put textures in to define the look and feel of the place. Sorry to go all technical on you there... For the Peacemaker I've opted for a marshy, rocky, craggy mix of earthy substances that was inspired by the hills in the north of Hamgyong Province.
Forsaking all pretence of english looking materials I threw in some rocks from the Sohan Bay near Sinanju.
The water I had imported fresh from the source of Pujon Lake. The folks in the nearby penal encampment were most helpful, though a bit of a sullen lot if you ask me.
I'm considering the famous Pogdong Willows as a key element of the vegetation, perhaps with some Unsan Oaks... we'll see. Anyway, a totally novel place this will be, and not at all common.
Please no North Korean name-inspired puns.

Are we trading school memories now? Here's the facility I attended:
Hm, wonder if I should construct that one and make it a clubhouse... I'm tempted, really.
Back to the subject at hand, here's a few pix of what the textures shown above look like when seen from ground level inside the game. There's always a bit of discrepancy when moving from CF to JNPG, so I always need to make sure and go have a looksie: Wouldn't do for my realistic North Korean nuclear establishment to end up looking like any non-descript corner of Northumberland.
And that one, dull and insipid mesh of a waste bunker will get switched with something both more appropriate and more North Korean during my next CF session. Everything else stays.
Tomorrow is also Happy Drawing Water Hazards Day, if you know what I mean. You don't? Of course you don't. It's a friggin' chore, mind-numbingly tedious and utterly uninspired... not happy at all.

I had heard that as well. I think there's still debate on his score on 11 and 12. Apparently, he scored a 1 over both holes. In the hole on a fly at 11 off the drive (428yds mind you) and after coming to rest, the ball miraculously proceeded out of the hole and over and in the hole at 12. Unprecedented but true. They do not know yet if it should be recorded as 1/0 or 0.5/0.5. For those unaware, the ghost of his dad was the previous course record holder.

My junior high school gym teacher had a paddle like the one above only his had holes in it so he could swing it faster and deliver more stinging blows.

Working title "Aloe Ridge" but if I can find some Speed Aloes soon I'll probably have to change the name to Aloeless Ridge.
Par 70 with wide fairways and a good mix of long and short par 4's. Lots of water in play and can be tough if played firm with a little bit of wind.
The course is finished and ready for testing so I'll upload soon. If anyone is interested in playing in true real life amateur distances here is a link to the Amateur release course file set at -1600m. All clubs are way shorter and the driver goes about 250 yards carry. Good time to use those forward tees.

Thanks guys, had fun with the birds but it's a pain in the butt to get audio right and to keep it from getting annoying.
