Can't wait to play your latest creation NoPutt.
On a side note...I have noticed a lot of the user courses have very wide fairways. I would love to see more courses with narrow fairways.

I hesitate to stick my foot in the water, but here goes...
A par 3 cut out of a small hill. The layout is still in the very early stages (simple textures, almost no planting etc...)

To check your scale try this.
In gameobject create a cube
and change the axis as pictured.
This will give you a 6 foot tall cube you can
drag around. You can also use it horizontally by changing the axis, and use google to convert meters to yards.
CF comes with a ruler and a human height tool.
Good work, hope you get CF SOON!

Ahhh scaling! Easily overlooked among the deluge of information I've been trying to consume recently. Rookie mistake.
Here's the cube player on the green. Might be a tad too big haha! Thanks for the heads up NoPutt.

Less of a behemoth green. The hole will play at about 160 yards from the longest tee. The drop off to the right is about 33 feet. I might revisit that later!

Testing is over and the course should be released TODAY!
Thanks for this course! I played it yesterday and throughly enjoyed the round!

Is the Cliffs a real course?
Is, "Keeowee," really supposed to have four "E's" in it?

A web search returns the following:
http://www.golflink....?course=1667756
and
https://cliffsliving...-vineyards-golf
I'm guessing the spelling of Keeowee may be a conscious decision, but it could be inadvertent as well - only Neal can answer that.

Yes the course is real, and my bad for the spelling error.
I may correct it at a later date, but for now it shall remain Keeowee.

The par 5 13th hole, gradually climbing uphill. The 4th hole at Bethpage Black was the general idea. Still need to plant grasses and come up with better textures.

Why do the palm trees look so deformed?
Posted 06 July 2016 - 11:35 AM
Shouldn't the grass be quite a bit more vibrant for a tropical location?
In mid day sunlight, yes. This is an evening scene with the light hitting the playing surface at a very low angle - and the shaders adding to the darkness (the normals of my meshes, for instance, are too strong for this light).
Should you be seized by a sudden urge for additional extra vibrancy, kindly use your in-game settings for increased colour saturation and contrast.
Why do the palm trees look so deformed?
Because I chose to deform them. After a bit of research.

(barely audible sigh) The thing is... (trying hard to stay composed)... you see... Same colours and meshes, not in the evening, but in glaring sunshine, see illustration below:
Surprising, innit? Let this be a warning to you and everybody about the ravaging effects of selecting dynamic light and times of day in JNPG... it tends to change colour stuff and things a bit.
I do hope this is green enough for you. Me, I worry that this too uncomfortably gaudy in a TGC kind of way, actually.
