After losing my last course at 18 holes i jumped straight back in the saddle and am saving more often than JC himself... I have 11 holes down on my latest track.....Buzzard Coast cc, the 11 are available over at OGT tours for tease/test.  I'm def gonna finish this one,   seems such a long time since ridgeway...

 

Great comeback Dogz, losing your course would have been a disaster

Looking good dogz, loved your last course one of my favourite tgc designers.... I personally can't wait to get my hands on course forge and start myself seeing what you guys are doing. Given up with tgc designing as not a patch on unity and cf.... Keep them coming

Interesting subject on volcano dogz, you know i have been thinking about adding a volcano for a while now , i was in 2 minds

I was going to add some lava flow down the sides as well , run it into the ocean like hawaii and some smoke above the eruption , 

 

Make it active, brings it alive,  and add  some sound too to go with it ,  can you bring the 3 eruptions together as one, see what the difference is

Personlay I think I would like to see only smoke instead of lava comming out from a volcano in PG ... It would be over the top othervise IMHO... IRL I dont think I would like to play golf next to an erupting volcano .

BUT ... Like the volcano .... the minds of a desiginer needs to erupt itself into Course Forge .... When you design you see things that other don´t  see ...  INtresting to know though how Lava would affect the FPS .

Absolutely loving unity, omg you can do so much in it, downloading loads of textures and objects... Can't wait for Cf!!

Is it a case of getting terrain ready in unity and then just routing your course on top.

yes you can do that, i route as i go along... lol i'm not a good planner, just go with the flow.

Hope MJ can get you guys the updated reflections some time soon as not sure what CF is doing in the second pic. Seems to be reflecting trees that aren't even there.

revamped with new textures.

no probs at all, the plot is plenty big enough, think GNCD near x2 in size

Yeah - That 2nd pic shows the worst of the worst on the current reflection situation.  

Getting those to be more believable will truly help with how real a rendered scene looks to our human eyes.

Noticed with my new Millstone textures the grasses

were not showing as they went with the old textures.

I have replanted and think this suits better.

Whereas other golf courses have club houses, Mulligan Municipal, true to its modest nature, will have no more than a club shack. And no club to speak of.

 

 

Didn't take long for Mr. Moe Lester to single this place out as suitable for future mischief, but he stumbled into and then fell on a nest of rattlers while conducting his recce. He barely made it out alive. Once out, he died. His body was duly deposited in the near Monsanto Moat, for the good folks further downstream to deal with the sepulchral details.
