Hello all..been tinkering w/a course for awhile.  Hope all this works, it's been a minute.  This is a course near Buford, around 50 miles NE of Atlanta.  It's a shortish course plus there is a tinge of altitude.  The par 5's are gettable and there are a couple of par 4's you can take a poke at.  Challenge yourselves w/course setup..unless you just like going low.  It's a good match play course..lots of looks at birdie and eagle.

If there are any issues let me know, like I said it's been awhile.

Hey Keith, Just played about 5 holes of your course. No problems to that point. I did take a minute to make you a custom flag if you want to use to use it instead of the PPG flag. https://www.dropbox....=hhwp356h&dl=0

If you want a different color, I change it for you

Appreciate that man..I'll try to get that installed soon.

Forgot to mention in my original post..course load stops @50% on occasion.  Just exit out and start over and it should load properly for y'all.  Also. don't know how new everyone's computer is, but course can be taxing on frame rates here and there.  I tried to optimize trees/bushes as best I could.  I think that's pretty much unavoidable in CF when planting a heavily vegetated course.

I've horsed around w/2K a good bit here and there, but PG is still beats it from a gameplay stand point.  And CF is still a very capable course building program, ever after all this time.

I have a pretty decent computer and I haven't found a course that isn't playable. I do get a little shuttering on occasion on certain courses including some of my own. I searched the web and found some video's of that course and I think you did the course justice from what I've seen. If you ever need anything just let me know and I'll see if I can help you out. Rob and I are trying to keep this game alive with some new courses. I have many on the drawing board that are in various phases of design.

Thanks, appreciate the comment.  I have a couple of others I'll get around to.  Time for a break right now, have a book to read.  As anyone who has dabbled w/CF knows, it's an investment.  PG IS worth keeping alive

OK..got the custom flag on..classed things up a bit.  Did a couple other last miute nips/tucks.  Think I'm calling this one my final.  Happy hacking everyone!

Played this last night with my brother... what a beautiful track!   Love the planting, amazing!   Great layout too... awesome choice to build, Keith!   And yes, as RB mentioned, trying to keep the game alive..  I'm not the best course designer, but certainly getting better with each course and now with the new terrain tool, I can build more real courses instead of fantasy..   I have so much lidar data now I'm not sure which to build next!    I am currently building 2-3 at a time with one or two just about ready for release...  and thanks to RB for all the guidance and free assets too!  Cheers!

Thanks Rob..and don't knock your skills.  The stuff you put out there is very nice and enjoyable to play, I especially like Whitetail.  It's all in good fun anyway.  Look forward to the next one..believe me I KNOW they take time and effort.

RBarley, I checked out three of your courses at PGLS.  The two Lancaster ones and Ironwood (?)..  All three are great renditions but I did post some comments at the PGLS forum.  Please read them and let me know what you think.  Thanks.

Yes I read your reply.  There is an issue with Iron Valley.  If you resume a saved round you are charged a penalty shot.  Has happened to me twice.  Just tested Lancaster CC and same issue.

Just tested Iron Valley using the first hole and I was able to resume the game. Maybe it's a setting on your end. Do you have that same issue with other designers' courses?

I just read a reply at PGLS.  He indicated that if you do not finish a hole the penalty situation occurs.  I just learned something new about PG and I've been playing since 2015.  I will test both courses later today.

I finished the first hole at Iron Valley and exited.  Re-started PG and clicked on Resume.  Same problem, the penalty came up.

I then tested with Kinloch, finishing the first hole, then resuming.  No penalty so not sure why it is happening with Iron Valley.

Ok I do have some sort of problem with my courses. I will look into it. I think it may have to do with the OB markings. I never exit my games when playing and so I never noticed this before.
