I still have TW08 installed on my old Win 7 PC and there is a community that still plays it. Players there continue to release courses and mods for the game. I believe Links has a following as well. Maybe this will be the future of PG.
Some of the guys from OGT released their own simulator software and their courses look very much like PG courses. I can't remember the name of their software which you can purchase.
RTSM - Pro

It would be interesting to find that OGT software, but would it work on a PC or just the Sim. By the way, EA did an update and now I can't do anything on the game. It appears broke.

It's hilarious watching people defend this release on a few forums
So much assumption that "EA will fix this" and "they'll get it right"
Will they?
Simple updates have been making things randomly worse ... or creating new issues...to say nothing of adding things from the huge list of missing features and modes of play.
Something is just very "not right" with this release.

priceless, my god is this funny.
If you scroll down a bit, there's a short clip titled..."Smart bird uses bread as bait". That is weird, the bird is literally fishing.

I am actually getting pissed. The stupid game keeps locking up on me. I don't know what to do other than go to Task Manager and exit the task.
Also, I am getting tired of seeing that however long it is introduction to the Road To The Masters at the very beginning.

Based upon the fit and finish of this release, I'm starting to think "EA" stands for "Early Access"

They've released a statement saying they are responding to the criticism and will be putting fixes in place - cams, multi, toggle off crap, reducing post shot reactions etc.
It might end up a half decent game if we believe that.

Of course they said that
Just “keep paying us first please!”

The better question is "why wasn't it already there"?
It was in Rory (and was a pretty good 3C actually), and EA23 is really just a thickened, up-rezzed and re-skinned Rory 15
The lack of a mouse swing, with no whispers of one ever coming, is the bigger deal breaker for me.
RTS-M has changed me totally.
Years ago I was all in on RTS-C here, but once I finally committed to RTS-M, there just is no going back.
To me - any golf game on a PC should have some form of Mouse Swing option.

Check this out!
I did this a long time ago. It demonstrates how amazing RTS-M is in conveying realism.
Once you have muscle memory dialled in with RTS-M you really don't need to see the avatar and without all the HUD crap on the screen it's about as immersive as a golf game can be.
Doesn't anyway out in golf game land LISTEN TO ME !!??

I've watched a few videos.. I would say its comparable to PG's 3click... the same swing tempo up and down, gives you the exact spot where you need to click, which I find to be disappointing. I only tolerated it in PG because I enjoy the overall game play style of PG... but the 3C in the new game seems like it was lazily made and a quick "throw in" to cater to 3C gamers.. which is fine, but for a modern day game, its awful. To me, Links2K will always be the best 2-3click meter ever! I'm going to hold out for a sale and even then still might not buy it, but I'm still not convinced.

I play Motion Swing at Tour Pro level (badly I may add).
Harder than RTS-M because all aids for MS are turned off at TP (OFF/OFF), whereas in RTS-M it is either OFF/MIN or MIN/OFF (cant remember which) so you are getting a small amount of assistance.
