I see that the VR golf game Golf+ have just signed a deal with the PGA Tour. I know they have 3 more U.S. courses and many more improvements in the pipeline. After playing their latest Pebble Beach course, which is fantastic, I don’t think I will be buying E.A.’s title any time soon, after it’s released, that is unless they’re offering VR support!
EA PGA Tour 2023 is coming to PC!

Very cool!
This is looking very good for their future
Scottsdale and Sawgrass and early 2023
I really hope there's another headset coming that's something between the Quest 2 and the Pro (or the pro price comes down?)
I've had a Quest 2, two times now, and I just want more resolution and clarity when viewing things in the distance. More resolution is needed for that.
Link to announcement: https://www.pgatour....-golf-game.html
Note -- "exclusive VR golf game of the PGA Tour!"
And the investors list - wow!
"Golfers and other athletes who have joined GOLF+ as investors include Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth, World Golf Hall of Famer Ben Crenshaw, Tom Brady, Steph Curry and Mike
Trout."
I still think there's plenty of market room for both VR and 2D golf game experiences though

I am really interested in seeing what EA puts out but like others I will wait a while to decide if to buy. At this point we have no release date and no info since October and no idea who if anybody is on the cover as most of a the good players and sellable ones are involved with 2K. Again without course creator it could be a dead game and if they made announcement tomorrow that they were shelving the product it would not shock me. Let's be honest Tiger was the reason their game took off and Rory tho nice looking was a bust so who sells the game for them? Lastly if you have a FedEx Cup career who is in it as again all the top players are with 2K and under contract so is it a no name tour. Just my thoughts.

The devs at Golf+ have said that they’re going to improve the resolution of the game in future updates.

A "by invitation" information live stream is coming on Wednesday
Sounds like those who will view it are going to be able to share things -- but who knows how much I guess.
I'm just happy this appears to be trucking along towards release in March/April of this year

Tweet was deleted due to embargo concerns, but apparently all is still on and the public might get some info in 7-10 days it sounds like

More EA spamming and garbage.... and so it begins! Reel everyone one in with the hype, get everyone excited, many pay for the game Day 1 and BAM! Shell out big bucks for the game only to run into disappointment, frustration and another consumer failure... same song and dance with EA.

More EA spamming and garbage..
The person admitted to me on the side that they'd missed the embargo email
It was the posters fault and had nothing to do with EA.
Jeez Rob - No need to be so negative and cynical. Besides, it's not like the other golf game, and that dev shop, is some miraculous experience either.
These big corps like 2k/EA all "are what they are" and few are really any better than any other.

I quit believing EA a while back as they have been garbage for years now as Madden is the same game every year and sucks every year also. Again there is no way they will break their golf model of pay for courses and limited courses as they know that there will be a faction of the video golf world who buy it and complain down the line that it's limited but they don't care as they got their money. It's a shame as EA was the go to sports game maker then got lazy and just put out the same game every year. I still ask who are they going to put on the cover as all the big names are with 2K.

"Power Boost", "Spin Control" and "Big Hit"... what's next remote control ball into the hole? Ha!
Looks nice though, gotta give it that.
