Yes Buck. I am playing this new one and the last one because there is nothing else to play.
anyone thinking this new game is the same as the 2k21 is wrong.
3 click meter completely different from any I've ever used in the past. quite the getting used to
the swing stick also is different with the sidebar meter.
only thing worse is the slower gain of points to purchase anything.. more of a pay to get get better gear.
buy points packs?
I've only a few hours so far. I did get the 18% off.
I have not tried any member courses yet. there was a lot of trash in 2k21 course library, we hardly played the same
course twice since 2k21's inception.

Been checking out the 3C on YouTube. Interesting...power hold, plane press, face press. I suppose that allows for shot shaping...still, that's one click too many imho.

Did they implement any display correction tools in the game at all?
(bump up shadow light level, change contrast, etc, that sort of thing?)
Just watching a video of 13 tee (and comparing vs TW14 shot I took the other day) -- it's so dark in the shadows -- I don't get it.. Is this something in the video creators settings?
and again on 18th tee

For the 3 click fans, here is a video of a guy playing it. Not your traditional 3 click method.

Judging by the comments on this game, it is still overpriced!

I would not clutter up my Hardrive with this so called Golf Game, if they were giving it away.

How would you rate 2K23 against 2K21? Is it just like a patch or would you consider it worth buying?
I can see that they’ve changed the ball flight and the trees look better but everything else looks the same. I’m still on the fence about whether to buy it or not but as it has become cheap really quickly, I’m guessing there’s a reason for that.
I play using the controller swing.

23 is much harder than 21 based solely on the swing method using the controller for the 3 click.
loads of courses every week. more bad than good when you're using a manufactured blueprint to create
humdrum golf.
but hey! it's golf.

What am I missing? I usually don't seem to note the problems that you all talk about.

I’ve bought the game and, to be honest, it’s not too bad. The course creator is much faster and the trees look very good. It’s not all good news though. The character creator is awful and a backward step from 2K21, the avatar looks very dark when playing the game, there are no new assets, that I can see, and the game has a few other issues that shouldn’t be in the game.
I only paid £12 using some in store credit. If I had paid the £100 they were asking when the game was released I would be very angry indeed. The game has much to offer but yet again developer laziness and missing content has badly effected the game.

The HB special, once again
It's a shame 2k acquired them and leaned into that
I think there could be a ton of potential here with a much more competent dev team

But like you previously said, what else is out there in terms of a modern golf game? Without this game and the EA one coming up, there isn't anything else to choose from.. Sure there are a few VR titles, but traditionally, many just want to play on PC or console.

I only bought the game because of the course creator, which to be honest, is much improved. It’s just a shame that, apart from a few extra golf carts and additional fauna and flora, there aren’t any new assets. How much more effort would it have taken just to add a few more clubhouses or wildlife?
