If you get back to the USA fly over area 51 and see if you can land without being shot down or arrested. Watch for aliens.
You might see Crusher!

Well this is the last video. It is a fly over of Liverpool. I wasn't allowed to publish the Beatle's song 'Flying' (very apt) which was a shame. It's on Youtube. If you want to get the full impact start the song as soon as the visuals start after the black screen intro. Watch till the end !!
I'm been pissed off with copyright issues plus I didn't want this to turn into a travelogue. I was really only showcasing what the game can do graphically and sim-wise.
A few observations...
1. The world is under cultivation. Those Sumerians 10,000 years ago have a lot to answer for. Russia/Europe, India, all along the Nile and especially the delta - anywhere there is flat ground there's a crop of some sort. You have to feed the hordes of course but if climate change isn't properly addressed and crops fail the world population will be self-regulating. Good luck.
2. You've seen one city, you've seen them all. All the famous man-made sights - woopdedoo. I wouldn't go through the pain in the arse and wallet of air travel to see any of them for ten minutes among thousands of fat, dumb tourists IF YOU PAID ME! This trip has satisfied any tiny urge to do so.
3. Air travel has made this world far too small. My initial idea of trundling along in a tiny plane was the best although impractical. Once I was in the jet the fun went out of it and it became two hours of (semi) boring 40,000 feet monotony until I got to my destination.
4. Having said that, FS2020 is a remarkable sim. The rendering of the land is wonderful at 3,000 to 5,000 feet and the visuals of distant mountains and weather formations is superb. The lighting is unbelievable.
5. This trip has been great as an education tool to increase my knowledge of our planet and where everything is within. It was exciting and awe-inspiring. I'm very glad I made the effort.
I'm flying out of Bali tomorrow to reach Broome on the west coast of Oz. I'll sell the CJ4 and steal a Robin for the long journey across our great country. Flat, hot, dusty, featureless desert most of the way but it will be worth it.
Cheers.

I wasn't going to post any more vids but when I got back to Australia and found my new ride I got excited.
It's the Zlin Aviation Savage Cub. She only goes about 170 km hr but what a gorgeous plane. Back to the absolute basics. I love the rudimentarianousness of this thing. Check out the controls and insides. This is real flying. Jets Schmets
I'm flying out of Broome on the north west coast of Oz heading straight across the dead heart. I love that country out there. So few people.
Anyway, I'll do a couple more vids to show off some Oz rock. Home again woohoo!

Well, I finally made it back home to Murwillumbah, Australia.
I made a final video (biggest production yet) but had copyright issues so I've uploaded it to...
