Now that there is an on screen power meter, why don’t they just go ahead and add three click already?

The mainstream user base they are targeting will use that in much higher numbers than we would think

I have a sneaking suspicion that 3-click will indeed be an option in PGA TOUR 2K21.   ;)

I remember reading in an old post by one of the HBS developers that they were open to the possibility of offering a 3-click option in a future version of the game.

Lots of new information and videos out there if anybody is interested…

Looking better...Still will be hard to know on some of it until normal people get a hold of it.

Looking forward to its release so impartial opinions can get out there..

Streamers are never going to say a neutral or negative thing and potentially risk their future access.

These videos should be considered "pump up" content --- good if you're already a purchaser no matter what, but of more limited use if you're on the fence.

I'm glad they stopped using the sunset lighting on everything. That was something of  a pet peeve for me.

What in particular did you find interesting?

Mainly that Everybody's Golf had such great physics-will definitely check it out.

Great video of a round at Sawgrass with power bars off...

Probably the most encouraging video I've yet seen - at least from the perspective of a PG and TW14 user and fan like myself.

Yep - Sadly I've grown to accept that reality at this point..

That said - the rest of it continues to look a lot better..

This is shaping up to be a better release than I personally had anticipated.

Whether that's "good enough" to sway a PG user like myself or not is sort of hard to know yet.

It does look quite nice at times, but, for me, it all comes down to how the swing works. I bought 2 previous versions of this game and it was just too easy to hit straight shots, so much so that designers had to ‘trick up’ their courses with stupidly narrow fairways in the landing areas.
£50 is just too much for this game and I won’t be buying it. Besides, I’m still enjoying the excellent recent course releases for PG.

Oh don't get me wrong - you and I have been on mostly parallel tracks with TGC and I also would never consider buying it straight away..

I will say though - things have changed there a bit with 2k getting their hands more on things....it's slow change, but change none the less.

This, for the first time since TGC2, has my interest peaked (potentially).

But - I will still only consider it when it goes on sale - as usual.

I'll be interested to see more and more streams when it's out and all the flaws/issues/changes (or not) get fully fleshed out.

I had a quick look at a video about the designer and it does seem to have some nice options. Once it’s reduced to a reasonable amount and the swing difficulty is as I would like, I might buy it.

I hope that they’ve improved the chipping, which has been a real disappointment.

That is one area I still don't like.

It just looks devoid of feel and touch...and the camera and ball flight just seems "weird" in those around the green situations.

I wish they had re-worked all the around the green stuff

Yes, to me that’s one of the most important aspect of real and video golf.

I wonder if they are likely to release a demo version?
