OK i'll change it, i'm not used to this stuff lol

After my round there you might have to ban me. God only knows how many fans I killed on the back side with my rape hook and slice of death. My caddie said it was going so well then it went to hell from 11 on and if anybody sees the poor SOB tell him we got a tee time in the morning.

I couldn't find PG Exiles in Societies. I'm playing on XBox. Is there a cross platform issue here?

Riviera is tough, so long!   i don't have the best driver in terms of distance, i did well to cling on to level par. or +1 cant remember what i scored. (pro)

If you enjoy the TGC series so far then you’ll like this as well. The UI looks modern, they got rid of that god awful music and went with something that’s actually easy on the ears. It’s still has its flaws but so far it’s very enjoyable for me. If 2k sticks with building this franchise it may be something in a few years.

I can leave everything open to what you want and make events handicapped i guess, don't wanna force people to play pro if its not that enjoyable, i'm getting to grips with it, still get plenty of strange tempo results but not as many as i used to see.

The game is decent, not perfect by any means. multi player events should be good, don't think we will see many silly scores.  Replays still don't work because of their terrible network issues, the plus side is that these issues do not appear to affect a P2P game with a friend or 2, not from what i've seen anyway.

If you guys want a decent society, try out the REDDIT2K society. The society has been created on PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch.

Also, I created a subreddit on Reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/PGA_Tour_2K/ We currently have over 4,100 members. We also have a Discord server for our members with over 300 players on it right now. Between the subReddit and the Discord, it's a great way to get tips on gameplay, the latest information and to find games.

I like Pro as it's tough but you can score as I have a couple rounds under par but you really have to grind. I really need to look at what clubs I have in my bag and maybe dump the 5W and add a 4I so not to have as much a difference in distance and maybe change the hybrid out. What's really different is distance of club brands as do you go with control or distance as whatever you choose sacrifice something. At this point I need control so I must sacrifice distance and as you stated on a long course like Riveria it's tough. Lots of options and lots of levels and so far good fun.

I'm starting with Pro Am and still struggling with shots around the green pretty often plus occasional large hooks that I can't figure out.

In training go into the swing calibration as that should help. I will say try and stay under 100% and that also helps as it's not as much a penalty when doing that. If you get the two way miss going I suggest to drink heavily and just hold on. Lol.

I received  a "yes" response in the Steam Forum for PGA21 that a mouse swing is available now, and I'm not referring to 3-click.  Has anyone here tried to play using just a mouse and keyboard?  Any positive or negative comments to share???

I used the mouse swing when playing TGC2019.  Is there any comparison with the new game?  Thanks.

I know now why they have used swing tempo, because if you turn it off it’s very easy to hit straight shots, even on the ‘Legend’ setting.

Partial shots are still difficult to play because of the speed of the backswing.

Player creation is not brilliant with certain features absent, so it’s not easy to get the avatar looking like yourself. For some reason they have plenty of options if you have pimples, moles, freckles and face lines, so it’s obviously a game aimed at spotty teenagers and old men!
Generally, the game looks very nice with plenty of options. The two courses that I’ve played so far have been very good indeed.

IanK I too tried and found the same thing and the good news is that when setting up event they can dictate what you play as with tempo off everything is straight. I did some experimenting today in one society that had two round event at Atlantic Beach. In the first round I played Pro-Am and way to easy as I shot 60 and that was with 27 on the front and no interest in the back as I just walked up and hit to Finnish and if serious could later down 55 pretty easy. To many perfect and way to easy. Played the 2nd round at Pro and birdied the last two holes to shoot 2 under 69 and way more fun and rewarding. Pro is the sweet spot even tho I had two triples at 2K21 Society event and shot 82 as even that was more fun than 60 at Pro-Am. Just my 2 cents.

Yeh legend is pretty easy with no tempo, tour pro at PG with a controller is different gravy, i appreciate that swing even more now, I'd love to see the 2K21 regulars have a crack at PG tour pro, they would be shocked, it would send them scurrying back sharpish.

TP with a controller is brutally tough and your correct. One thing with that setting of turning the timing off if you notice the ball didn't go anywhere as on the range I was doing 100% or more and trying maybe 260 yards so must be some kind of yardage penalty. Besides it's boring being in the middle as I am getting really good at getting out of trouble.

I have used Mouse Swing a lot since it came out. I never used it in TGC2 or TGC2019 because I thought it sucked but this year it seems to be so much better. It could have been just me not willing to give it a real go but it comes down to staying at the range and working on which mouse sensitivity to use. I tried Legends and Masters and while I don't mind either i'd rather be closer to Par so I stay with Pro difficulty because with the other 2 it's hard to score good..lol

I currently have my mouse sensitivity at %85 but I also use a DPI of either 600 or 800 on my mouse for other stuff. I hate fast mice...lol
