Downloading now, I have a feeling I am going to have a path problem. When I set it up I swore I told it to install to another drive, but I am not sure where it is going now. 95.1 gig DL.

First reviews at Steam are mixed due to the fact that you have to install a 500 MB game launcher to install the game. I wonder if this is the same if I were to purchase it directly from Microsoft? Hopefully Steam isn't the only purchase option. Comments about the game itself are positive.

As soon as i learned that you have to connect to a MS account via steam i gave this a miss, along with poor performance and demands i'm not gonna waste my money, not to mention that when installing it counts towards play time so you will have no way to refund if its not to your liking.

I was really excited about this from all the trailers the last months, but when I watched the developers live broadcast on steam I could not help nodding off again and again. But it sure looks incredible, I have to get another ssd disk as it is a very large dl. Think I will wait for it another year when I retire and have all the time it needs to get into it.

The basic version is available with an xbox game pass for PC. The subscription is only $1 for the first month then $4.99 a month. Great way to try out without having to pay full price. For someone like me this is perfect, as once I'm done marveling at the visuals, and they are awesome by the way, I'll be over it and never touch it again as I'm not into aviation. I can say though that if i was, the couple hours i have played would be enough for me to buy the $120 version.

July 27. Fabulous. This is the one for me.
I have a plan to fly around the world in a small plane - however long it takes.

I'm very intrigued to see just how darned good they got the performance on the new xbox's
Combined with full kb/mouse support (critical for avionics interaction), the new xbox could be a screaming great deal for those of us wanting a new FS rig.
Mind you -- the newest high end xbox isn't readily available, but it's still easier to jump on and get compared to new GPUs

PC gaming is also dead for me. I've got an HP All-in-one which can't run high graphic games. (I do miss PG.)
I've had an Xbox for a while and played countless games on Game Pass. Try for ten minutes for some games but it's kept me busy.
SnowRunner has been the long term keeper until Flight Sim comes out. That game is TOUGH but I have to get out of the mud and fly.
The question is XBox S or X ? Any advice? Price not an issue because I'll be paying off a contract with Telstra at $33 or $46 a month.

Personally I'll be going Series X
If flight sim is going to be involved, you'll want all the horsepower they'll sell you.
As an aside, this snowboarding game coming for XB looks really fun
