The soundscape. This is how you do it right.
(Now if they were to licence and incorporate a certain golf game, and I could fly to courses around the world to play, then I might be interested).

I actually used to do this. Back in Links 2K3 and FSX. I would fly to the airport closest to the course I wanted to play, play the round then fly back. With FS's multiplayer feature I even had a buddy that flew and also played Links, that was a lot of fun.

Great link Merace - I'd seen that and my jaw dropped.
The comparisons are crazy... Some of the photos are legitimately hard to tell which is real life vs MSFS

That is just jaw dropping... thanks for posting that link Mark! I think my new Geforce GTX 1070 8 GB might get my PC up to the task. It's made a huge difference in the peformance of Forza 7 (as in making it playable for more than one race before memory leak issues brought my 3 GB 1060 to its knees), Perfect Golf and TGC 2019... both of which are now playable in 4K at 60 FPS. Perfect Golf seemed to get more of a swing feel (RTS-C) benefit from it, which surprised me. I'll probably be playing a little bit more of it as a result.

After further review, I saw that I was actually using 1600p in TGC 2019 when I was getting 60 to 65 FPS with the GTX 1070. When I switched it to 2160p, that performance dropped to 40 to 44 FPS, but it was still considerably smoother feeling than it was at 28 to 32 FPS with my old 3 GB 1060. I'm easily getting 60 - 65 FPS with Perfect Golf on the 1070 at 2160p, but I've also got the shadow, grass and tree distances dialed back to less than what the norm is for most. I'll experiment with that a bit, but I can easily say that the 8 GB 1070 is giving me at least 30% greater performance than my 3 GB 1060.
I think what I have in my PC will support MFS 20 adequately based on what I've read so far. I'll have the XBox Series X to fall back on should it not

This is one of their signature games and always has been ??? Best thing is you can fly over a course and check to see if the lidars are correct regarding how you made it.
Little known fact when King Arthur was trying to make a golf course and he ran into some conflict. King Arthur: There's a peace only to be found on the other side of war. If that war should come I will fight it! Other important fact. Read the Book of John in the Holy Bible.

As tempting as this is for me, I probably won't buy it. I'm more of a look at the scenery type of guy. I failed miserably a previous versions of flight simulator. Plus I don't have a flight stick or rudder pedals.
