PLEASE, DO NOT COMMENT IN THIS TOPIC
I have created several Courseforge assets for various courses, so I decided to package some of them to be shared with everyone. This thread will be limited to miscellaneous assets, walls, ball washers, tables, chairs, etc. I will be creating a separate thread for houses, condos and other types of buildings.
I hope to reserve this thread as a repository for assets only. Thus I am requesting that no one make any comments in this thread. I have asked Crow357 to delete any comment that is made that does not contain a shared asset. If you wish to comment positive or negative to any of the shared assets, please make them in a separate thread.
I invite anyone that has assets to also share their work in this thread. I have all of my assets organized as shown in the following Project window image.
As you can see I have a base folder called LAK_Assets. All of mine will import into this folder. There currently are three sub folders: Condos, Houses and Misc Assets. I expect to add a fourth for Misc Buildings. The image shows the Misc Assets expanded, and it contains a folder for each individual asset. Each of these folders are organized as shown by the Tennis Court asset. The FBX Objects folder contains the objects imported from Blender and normally you won't use them, but they have to be present. The Materials folder holds all of the defined materials used by the tennis courts. In most cases you do not need to expand either of these folders.
Finally the prefabs for the asset are listed. These are the assets you drag and drop into your Unity scene. In this case, I also included a readme file that explains there are additional textures available to change the colors of the tennis court surface
The last folder in LAK_Assets is labeled Textures and contains all textures used by any of the assets in the LAK_Assets folder.
I encourage all submitters to create a similar structure for their assets to keep the users Project window nice an clean.
AGAIN, PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANY COMMENTS IN THIS TOPIC. LET'S RESERVE IT FOR DOWNLOADABLE ASSETS ONLY.
