@Joe Habiger:

All that's fair and accurate.. I agree..

That said,
Mebby's post right above yours is pretty on point.

Agreed but it's hard to get anything out of any Dev who has already got your money once, but you can't answer everyone or you'd be on the forums all the time. If I know Mike Jones he is foaming at the mouth to tell you all he knows but he can't because I am sure TM has strict guidelines. I wish I knew more as well but i'm still OH WELL if nothing happens because i'll be able to play The Golf Club 2019 at least.

I'm honestly still not clear on what the transaction was.
Did TM actually buy PP or is there just some type of complex and exclusive agreement, etc?

It's honestly never been officially detailed in a press release or the like, at least not to my knowledge.
Anyone ever see anything about any of this on the TM side?

I'm not saying they need to explain, but it certainly would lessen the ambiguity and help users better understand what to expect or not in the future.

Nov 2012 Press Release

That is from 2012…

I think the presumption is that whatever happened last fall or winter is a different and wider reaching agreement.

Did you mean to link to something else?

Yeah, that's why I wrote 'Nov 2012 Press Release'.

You said you'd seen nothing official detailed in a press release and asked if anyone had ever seen anything.

No-one involved in decision making at this point would say there are no plans for PG2 - whether it sees the light of day or not.

So what they have told us so far is all they are able to say.

Give them a break.

(That last bit was my own in-joke)

Sorry. I guess I should have been more specific and limited it to "anything even remotely current".

I'm not sure 6 years ago qualifies or tells much about the current situation, especially as it pertains to what just happened in fall of 2017.

I see your point and understand where you're coming from.  But it's kinda like when you ask someone something but then get a completely different answer from their boss.  It makes you wonder.  And when the subordinate refuses to address the conflicting information it REALLY makes you wonder.

You really think that statement came from the BOSS, or anyone that actually knows more than us. I know who's word I'll take.

It came from TM.  It was their social site.  You really think they want people on the front lines spewing out garbage information?

open your eyes folks at what is going on around you.

Offical tourneys unplayable no leaderboards so why waste the time in the first

place. reported long ago and nothing done to fix the problem.

2 outside tourney sites that have no issues in getting the tourneys to work properly.

how come the game creaters refuse to fix the issue with the tourneys?

a bunch of people have stepped up and volunteered there time to take over the offical tourney setting

still nothing done. just that 1 problem more then likely has an easy fix but it is not getting done!

how am i as a customer going to go for much of anything in the future when

just little problems like this are not taken care of in a timely manner?

no confidance left at this point of time this will even make it much further.

I guess you're mistaking concurrent players with total players. We get several thousand players playing PG each week on different platforms which is pretty good for what is essentially a 3 year old game although it has been updated often over the years.

several thousands? Like 2k 3k? on which platforms mike sim players ? Theres no way you have several thousands playing on pc

Maybe he just said the hell with it after all the abuse he has taken in this thread and I wouldn't blame him if he did.

We get 150-200 unique players each week on the OGT simulator tour alone, and estimate 20-50 PC players for each sim player. I wouldn't consider several thousand 'no way'.

I see no abuse but some of the the critisism is justified and they probably know it is.
Most people here who don't blindly support PP however badly they treat their potential customers, only want to know is there going to be a PG2 or not. Mike and Andrew say one thing and the new owners of the game say another. I think some communication is required between PP and Trackman so that someone can give a definitive answer one way or another.

BS all you got to do is go look at the current tourneys around 20 in most of the sim tourneys, they do have a couple of hundred Sim players

but by looking at the members list most no avatar, and from what i can tell most have not played, kinda makes me think of a dummy set of books to make things look good for potential players. standings 102 that have played at least 1 comp

191 who have not even played in the now going tour.

http://onlinegolftou...s.html?id=10039

80 on the PC tour 59 have played at least 1 event

your numbers are bogas

If your looking for some facts here are a few, Stats flip per season and reset, as of now OGT has over 211 active sim players that have paid there dues for the year at 250.00 so you can do the math on that we have 173 that have signed up for the summer tour, these are confirmed. Since we are in the spring/summer months and do not sit on our butts and actually play REAL golf during these months, activity is skewed. And if your basing you must have a avatar to be legit your an idiot and should keep your comments to yourself unless you know the facts. lastly please spellcheck yourself we do not need people thinking that your illiterate.
