Another tid bit this morning regarding EA Sports Rory Mcllroy PGA Tour game which will vanish from the EA Vault on May 22nd and no longer be sold thru digital storefronts and EA Access. This is speculated to be a license issue and leaves the console market with only TGC2 at this point and EA has no plans for a golf game in the future. Its sad but the market is shrinking for video golf and no idea where this leads the game. I will stick with the info we got here for now as its our best hope for a new game and if not we still have JNPG and that game can live on it Steam for years sort of how LInks 2003 did. Sad times for a video niche we all love and I still pull out Rory and play it as its a decent game just not a lot of courses and content but still very playable and I will continue to do that with my copy. At this point I own golf games for PC, Xbox One, PS3 and PS2 and wont be throwing them or the systems away as no idea what the future holds and want to have those at least and the only known new game that has been announced is the TGC 2019.

I called the Pope last week asking HIM what HE thinks about the release date of PG2 and he told me that god didn't mention PG2 since about 6 months now.
So now I'm absolutely sure there will be no PG2 anytime this or next year. Who could know better?
sad, very sad
Who cares...

The whole PG experience has been fantastic. The community spirit amongst players, designers and organisers is great to be part of. I hope the format of PG2 will be the same as PG1. If not there’s enough entertainment from PG1 and all the great courses to keep me going for the next decade.
Many thanks to all the course designers for the tremendous work and the endless enjoyment it provides.

$499 for Pebble Beach and Royal Birkdale?
Now I understand why Foresight and Trackman want the future to be only Sim User based, if you can screw the customer over for that kind of money why not. I think one of my friends is designing courses for Foresight and i'm sure he gets a pretty penny since he does not have a real job besides that so that's probably why they are so expensive as they have to make up for paying the course designer an EXTREME amount of cash to design some simple course that doesn't take to long.

Ian, even if you are jesting you still may be correct. I have to question if Trackman will even want to cater for 3 clickers, mousers and controller players...why would they bother if their sole concern is simulators. Having to cater for the rest would prob mean having to deal with more bugs, glitches and minor annoyances than they would prob want, judging by the crazy cost of their sim setups, non sim users would just be an annoyance they could do without. As for console, well that ship has most def sailed....am i wrong?

1. They have no intention whatsoever at present to release a PG2 for PC.
2. They have no intention at present to release a PG2 for PC as it isn't ready.
If it is No. 1 then why did Andrew say what he did in his brief update?

Personally i think 3 clickers and mousers will be ok, but i predict that PG2 will not be controller playable, maybe it will come later like it did with JNPG, but upon release controller players are not gonna see the love.

Not a jest. I wouldn't do that. I can post a screen shot if anyone wants to see it. Alternatively contact them via their Facebook page and see if you get the same answer.

IMO, that would be an enormous mistake.

Personally I believe in the game and what Andrew stated at the start of this thread, not the subsequent scaremongering.

I quoted what Trackman told me. I sorry that you didn't like their answer.

AJ has been testing PG2 with a controller so that's already implemented in code....
